IELTS is a paper
based test and has two modules – Academic and
General Training. The Academic test is for those who
want to study at a under graduate, graduate or post
graduate level. The General Training test is for
those who want to migrate to an English-speaking
country, work or enroll for various training
IELTS has four
parts – Listening (30 mins/ 40 questions), Reading
(60 mins/ 40 questions), Writing (60 mins/ 2 topics)
and Speaking (11–14 minutes). The total test time is
2 hours and 45 minutes.
